Trail Riding Journal
Our trail ride near Lake Pardee, EBMUD Coast to Crest Trail, in the Foothills of Calaveras County. It was a beautiful mild day one of the most pleasant rides in a long time! After enjoying a lunch made by Deli Nini's in Murphy's, we mounted up and ambled through the cows and the open land.

We also offer rides in the Foothills! If you have your own horse or if you want to ride one of ours, you can join us on a beautiful trail ride in the foothills. Offered from September through May.
If you like horse camping and have your own self contained set up, you can stay over at the J-K Ranch, enjoy the arena, ranch riding and awesome facilities and we'll show you around the area. There are many lakes, and trails we can trailer to within just 1/2 hour distance.

Hagen Daas and Anejo
Many of our riding friends will remember our awesome little swimmer Daasie. We will miss her badly this year as she passed away in June. Daasie was 13 years old and went on all of our mountain trips when she wasn't working the livestock or guarding the cats at home. But, her daughter is still with us and we plan for her to have puppies this summer.
